The goal of a project was to train an INTERMEDIA ORGANISM – AN ARTIST WHO WOULD BE IN SYNERGY WITH AN ENTIRE SUIT OF TOOLS AND METHODS WHICH CAN BE USED IN THE PROCESS OF CREATION.
As an intermedia artist, I gave in to the creative, research and technological processes while at the same time I became a research subject. I experienced, I prepared the essential elements, I consulted specialists in different fields, and I verified the results accordingly. I put together the prepared material, I determined the differences in the process work on the border between different media, and I defined the most advantageous solutions. The implementation process was multifaceted and multidimensional. Its basis was working with the body: movement, breath, voice, and tekst.
Nature met technology that supported the flow of reactions and implied the necessary layers to achieve the right flexibility, atmosphere, and message. Another important element of the research process was the selection of software and devices, as well as encountering an interface that would allow the combination of all used means of expression.
I’ve focused on the different inter-dependencies that occur between the used means of artistic expression, scope of their application, and new values created as an outcome of those connections. The created cycle of pictures and poems that were published on the website forms a gateway to further versions of the project. The knowledge that I got from conducted laboratory works and its contribution to consequent group and individual realizations are the outcomes of the work.
